Welcome to Grace Community Presbyterian Church. I am Ken Hegtvedt, the pastor of this congregation, I'm delighted that you have chosen to look at our website. We extend you a warm welcome to visit us for worship on Sunday. I am delighted to serve as the pastor at Grace Community Presbyterian Church. Our church family seeks to glorify God in our worship, in our discipleship, in our study of God’s Word and sharing the great commission with our friends and neighborhoods in our community.
At Grace Community we gather as a family to worship on Sundays. This is a time of nurturing our Christian formation through Christian music, the Word of God, prayer, observing the sacraments and fellowship. Our music style is blended with attention to the timeless truths communicated in hymns and response to God in spiritual songs. Our teaching focus is centered in God’s revealed Word, the Bible. We are committed to its study through verse by verse teaching [exposition] as a book of Scripture is covered in its entirety through a sermon series. We enjoy a gathering time before each service to reconnect with friends and members of the congregation and enjoy the richness and encouragement of that fellowship. Monthly we observe the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper in obedience to the Lord’s command and to be encouraged and nourished spiritually. Believing in the importance of each and every member of the church, we have many opportunities for ministry, both for service in the church and service in the community.
If you have further questions about our church as you move through our website, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. As you look you will notice distinctives of what we value in our commitment to glorifying God. We are members of The Presbyterian Church in America and are a mission plant under the Pacific Northwest Presbytery. We are excited about the relationship that we enjoy to this greater connection in the denomination. Please take this note as a warm personal welcome from myself and the family of Grace Community Presbyterian Church to worship with us this Sunday. Soli Deo Gloria!
